R[3]sidency × Construct: backing founders building the machine economy
Today we're announcing R[3]sidency x Construct, our accelerator cohort for founders building the frontier tech of the machine economy: AI, Fintech, Crypto, Robotics and Quantum run by Fabric Ventures and Wintermute, with core ecosystem partner Solana Foundation, Superteam UK and continued support from Coinbase.
What it is
- Twelve week programme from October - December 2026

Who We Are
Fabric is a thesis driven venture firm that backs companies from inception including 15 unicorns. We launched R[3]sidency last year to back the talent that can become outlier great founders building category-defining outcomes. Our last cohort attracted almost 1000 applications across Crypto, AI, Quantum and more. From this we selected the top 1% for our cohort and helped them turn early ideas into real products with venture-scale potential.
Wintermute is an algorithmic trading firm and OTC desk with over $3.5 trillion in annual trading volume, deeply embedded across the entire digital asset ecosystem. Construct is Wintermute’s accelerator program built on hands-on mentorship from operators and builders who have done the work themselves. Wintermute has incubated new businesses such as Armitage, Wildcat, Bebop and GMCI, and has backed over 100 early-stage projects via Wintermute Ventures.
Solana is a high performance network powering internet capital markets, payments, AI agents, and crypto applications. Solana operates as a single global state machine, and is open, interoperable and decentralized. Superteam is a global co-operative organised into regional non-profit organisations across 25+ countries focused on supporting founders and talent building at the frontier of tech.
Coinbase famously emerged from the prestigious YC accelerator and knows the impact accelerators can have on going 0->1. Now, as a multi-billion dollar company they’re helping back the next generation of builders and have supported R[3]sidency since the first cohort.
Our Thesis
All of us share the belief that:
- Today, the bar for raising a first round keeps getting higher: live products, real traction, quality of revenue. We help you navigate the idea maze and transform a concept into production
- Research driven innovation in fields like Crypto, Quantum and AI have opened up a huge opportunity space for founders,
- Europe (🇬🇧🇪🇺🇨🇭) has world-leading talent but is underserved at the earliest stages
What We're Looking For
We’re not for everyone. We’re for the few who can’t sleep because they know something the market doesn’t and have the ambition to build unicorns. Specifically we’re looking for:
- Founders with a unique perspective of deep understanding of overlooked markets
- At any stage: idea phase, have an MVP or live product
- Willing to co-work IRL in London for all or part of the program
