Overview of The Role

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Source and screen prospective investments
  • Lead and develop strategic investment opportunities for Fabric globally – from idea to proposal to deal execution– taking a holistic, cross-functional approach
  • Own all aspects of the deal, including sourcing, qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, due diligence and closing activities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact to target portfolio company management
  • Review business plans
  • Research market trends and dynamics
  • Develop investment committee memorandums
  • Develop financial models
  • Ongoing portfolio support and administration
  • Help firm-wide on key operational activities including events and presentations

Ideal Profile:

  • We are looking for individuals ideally with domain expertise in one or more of blockchain, decentralized technologies, and/or fintech sectors
  • Several years of work experience in VC
  • Fluency in verbal and written English 
  • Highly analytical, organised with exceptional attention to detail, fluency in performing financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses
  • Has to demonstrate several deals she/he has completed end to end
  • Positive attitude, team player, open-minded and not ego-driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills (High EQ and IQ)
  • London based
  • Comfortable with deals at Seed or Series A stages

Compensation

Competitive, including base salary, bonus and carry

Location

London, partly remote with weekly team meetings in West London
